AID AND ATTENDANCE

(A medical reimbursement pension for Veterans, their spouses, and surviving spouses.)

Requirements:  90 days service in one of the U.S. Military Services/one day during a Wartime period.

bullet

World War II - December 7, 1941 to December 31, 1946;

bullet

Korea - June 25, 1950 to January 31, 1955;

bullet

Viet Nam - August 5, 1964 to May 7, 1975;

bullet

Persian Gulf - August 2, 1990 through date to be determined by Presidential proclamation or  law.

You must have a medical condition that requires a need of assistance from someone else on a regular basis.  This pension pays up to: $1, 632.00 monthly for a veteran; $1,055.00 monthly for a surviving spouse; $1, 949.00 monthly for veteran and spouse, TAX FREE.

   These funds may be used to pay the following:

Nursing home long term care.

bullet

Assisted living or for adult care services such as board and care.

bullet

In some cases it pays family members, except for the spouse, to provide care at home.

bullet

Professional home care providers to come into the home.  Qualification is more difficult.

bullet

Up to $1,200.00 to renovate the home to help with disability access such as ramps and grab bars.

Many deserving Veterans who are eligible, but unaware of this valuable pension program, must be informed and we need your help to get the word out.

Please become a part of this valuable pension program by being alert for any person that maybe eligible for benefit and let them know what they are missing out on.
