Brethren—
This being the final Trestleboard for the year 2009, allow me to express my appreciation for the efforts of the Officers of this Lodge in becoming proficient for the year 2010. Much work was done by all and you should be proud of them. Additionally, many thanks to Bros. Bobbie Byers, David Anderson, Ernie Castillo, Richard Rosenberg, and Bill Malmstrom for their constant work and guidance.
Special thanks go to Wor. Luis Orozco for always finding time to attend our Lodge and add the enjoyment of his musical talents. We know he was extremely busy as Assistant Grand Organist for Grand Lodge last year but he always found time for us.
We are sad to have lost Wor. Gable to the eastern Climes of Pennsylvania, but he says that his new digs are just what he and Nancy wanted.
Fraternally,
Bob Rowen - Master
From the West
First, let me thank you for the honor you bestowed upon me by electing me to become the Master of Los Altos Lodge #712 for the ensuing year. As Master, I will do the best job I can in serving the Lodge. Along with your other newly elected Lodge Officers we will do everything in our power to make our lodge a good partner within the community.
The Grand Master has made Coming Home a priority to bring members back to the blue lodge. We have several programs set out this coming year to make these goals a reality. I hope you will join with me in making Los Altos Lodge a place for everyone to enjoy.
The Lodge installation of Officers will be Sunday January 17th at 3 PM with dinner following the ceremony. As the Lodge dining seating is limited, please make your reservations to Bobbie at (408) 736-2958 or bobbyers@comcast.com by January 4th.

Brethren,
2010 Lodge Dinners Meal Policy:
$15 with reservations (Including stag nights)
$12 for wives, children and guests with reservations.
$18 without reservations.
$120 Annual pre-paid dinner pass ($10 /dinner) payable in January.
Starting with December’s meeting, there will be a signup sheet next to the Lodge register for the next month’s meetings. You may also call-in or email no later than the Sunday before the Stated Meeting:
Tom Ellison at 408-954-1945, thomasellisonn@comcast.net
We have been forced to increase the charge for normal stated meeting dinners in order for us to break even on the costs. The dinner cost will be $15 with a reservation and $18 without to cover the cost of making extra food for those who haven’t registered. In addition, wives, children and your guests are $12 each with reservations.
The best deal is the annual pre-paid meal dinner pass $120 or ($10/dinner) but you need to purchase it in January. We will try to make it convenient to make reservations by having a reservation form for the next month available beside the Lodge Register.
You can also call or email Tom Ellison at 408-954-1945,
thomasellisonn@comcast.net
no later than the Sunday before the Stated Meeting.
We appreciate your understanding in this matter as it was the best way to maintain the quality of the meals without losing money each month.
Tom Ellison,
Junior Warden Elect 2010
