Highlights:  Brothers Mickle, Brann, and Samuelson were the only members who transferred from Oxnard Lodge No. 341.

All charter members donated $10.00 each.
Of the 35 charter members, eight became Masters and one an Inspector.

A great deal of credit must be given to the ladies who so faithfully and diligently worked and supported the lodge by serving and performing other projects to raise funds.

Anacapa Lodge was named after one of the nearby islands - later learning it meant "lost ship."

Meeting Places:  After the Masonic Temple was destroyed by an earthquake in February 1957, the Lodge met in various places - the Knights of Columbus Hall; the old vacant telephone building (which was renovated to fulfill our needs); the Odd Fellows Hall, and in 1961, we moved to our present location, the new Masonic Temple.
