From the East

         Greetings:

When we think of the month of February, we think of Valentines Day. Our February Family Dinner falls on February 14th, so let's celebrate that day in the lodge with our sweethearts. We will arrange with Bro Ed Dimalanta to teach us and our guests in ballroom dancing. We will have music and good food. So bring your dancing shoes, and invite your family and friends. While the dinner for our ladies will be FREE, the donation for our brethren will be $12 each. A portion of the proceed will go to our depleting Masonic Cemetery Fund. We promise you good food, good company and plenty of fun!

I wish to start the tradition of making the month of February as the month of Widow Outreach Program. We have the Widow's Contact and Visitation Committee updating the contact information to make sure that the family of our departed brothers hear from us if they wish to do so. We like to invite them in our functions, but especially this coming February Family Dinner. We miss you and we like to hear from you. Let us know if you need a ride to the lodge, and we would be happy to oblige. Maybe there is a need to help mow the lawn, or fixing around the house. Remember brethren when we took that solemn obligation to aid and support our worthy brothers, their widows and orphans.

To further help us on our fundraising, we are arranging a Casino Run this February 25th. If successful, we can easily raise the needed funds to help pay our lodge's expenses. We require 50 people to fill the bus, so please keep that date in mind. Please contact the chairperson, Bro Senior Warden Ignacio Lopez, or any of our officers.  All our welcome to join.

Lastly, I like to help Sis Gem Castillejo and Sis Tess Borreta for helping in our January Family Dinner. They are always there to help my wife Christine decorate. Likewise to other sisters who stayed to help clean-up. Thank you so much. I also like to thank everyone who helped in our January 9th fundraising. Our lodge is blessed with so many dedicated members and friends. I get a lot of volunteers who want to help in the lodge and in the rituals, and likewise suggestions and ideas. Thank you my brethren. Please keep them coming, and let us continue the good work. Stay safe my brethren.

Sincerely & Fraternally,

John Bonilla
