Anacapa Masonic Lodge No. 710 FIRST TIME VISITORS
Introduced by the Senior Deacon before closing of the Lodge is Brother David Cobbel of Mellburn Lodge No. 127 of Lake Villa,. Il. He is pictured with the Worshipful Master Roman RF Ladaw on this date March 18, 2008. As always we welcome and thanks Brother David for lengthening his cable tow to extend his fraternal greetings and to witnessed the degree conferral to our candidates..
Visiting for the first time to Anacapa Lodge No. 710 are Brother Arnold Ilanga, on the right of the WM Ladaw and WB Paolo Santos, is on the left. Both are from Harry S. Truman Lodge No. 649 of Naples, Italy. Brother Ilanga is a Seabee and WB Santos is a Navy dependent. They were introduced by the Senior Deacon Leslie Pond on January 29, 2008.
Incident to the 3rd degree conferral on January 22, 2008, a brother from Lemon Grove , California visited Anacapa Lodge No. 710 for the first time. He is RW C.M. Patrick of G.A. Thompson Lodge No. 79. He is on the above picture, left of WM Ladaw and at the right of WB Gus Garcia. Also on the picture is Brother Jeff Davenport who acted as Junior Steward during the conferral.
John Tippins, PM of Gillingham East Kent, England has arrived in Oxnard. The remaining days for Anacapa Lodge were merely devoted for Stated Meeting, November 13, Officers Quals for the 20th and Installation Practice on the 27th These did'nt altered WB John Tippins itinerary. We had him come on the 13th and for the second time on the 20th where after the qualification, Brehtren avail themselves for a group pictures; here WB Bobbie Worford shown welcoming WB John Tippins to Anacapa Lodge No. 710. King, Jr. and WB LynnWallingford of 718th..
Once and a while we have Brothers from other lodges drop in for a visit. This proves that this brotherhood known as Free and Accepted Masons are live and real. Brothers from other lodges of other States take time to visit us when John M. Buermann, PM of Isle of Patmos Lodge No. 17 of South Hero, Vermont and Keith Alan Deakins of Samuel S. Lawrence Lodge No. 721 of Marietta, Georgia. Both were with us this date October 2nd, 2007 when we have a 2nd degree conferral. The Worshipful Master Willie Dumaop and the Officers gladly welcome these two brothers with open hand. Their presence will remind all brethren that we stand and fulfill when we kneel at the Altar.
On August 7, 2007 as Anacapa Lodge No. 710 conducted to initiate Mr. Michael Cory Moreno, Brother Cesar O. Cabotage of Welcome Lodge No. 255, Lemoore, California stretch his cable tow just to meet his Brothers in this Lodge .for the first time. The WM the Officers and the Brethren as a whole gladly welcome him, his presence add joy during the conferral. He is pictured 2nd from the right.
Visitors during a 1st degree conferral on March 27, 2007, were 3 Brothers from Oxnard Lodge No. 341, headed by WB Bob L. Sills, presently the Senior Grand Deacon of the Grand Lodge of California. This two brothers are John Q. Cabahug and Gerard Zerphey, Jr. sitting on the sideline to witness how 1st degree ritual are done and also were participant on a Walk About where WB Angel Barela toured them and introduced to each Officers, learned the symbol of their Jewels and their respective jobs.
Brother Jeff Beckwich from Glendale Lodge No. 368 drove all the way from Glendale to witnessed a friend who was to be raised to the degree of Master Mason, and this is Brother Kristofer Nguyen, March 20, 2007. The Brethren of Anacapa Lodge was pleased to welcome Brother James Dixon on his first visit to the Lodge. Stretching his cable tow from Spreckers Lodge No. 657, San Diego California. It is indeed an opportune time to witnessed the raising of Brother James J. Schwartz this February 6, 2007. With him from left to right: WB Bobbie Worford, Bro. Dixon and SW Roman RF Ladaw and WB Gus Garcia.
Brother Arnel C. Mendoza on the middle was our 1st time visitor for January 2007. He hails from Nippon Lodge No. 9, Tokyo, Japan. Flanked by the brothers of Anacapa Lodge are L-R: Bro. Hisey, WM Dumaop, Bro. Mendoza, Bro. Munar and Bro. Ladaw. Brothers from Silver Gate-Three Star Lodge No. 296, San Diego, California came up for a photo after the ceremonies on the raising of Brother Bonifacio S. Munar. All three drove all the way from San Diego sacrificing to stretch their cable tow to witness this important occasion Joint by WM Larry Morris, and Bro. Bonifacio Munar, they are from L-R: Bro. Clarence Abordo, Bro. Ernie Bautista and WB Antonio Bersamina. Our first time visitors for November 7, 2006 were WB Efren R. Badong, far left a Past Master of Naga City Lodge No. 257, Camarines Sur, Philippines and Bro. Carlos Mallari, Jr .of North West Lodge No. 271, Chicago, IL at far right. WM Larry Morris and newly raised Bro. James S. Davenport were at the middle. Not in the picture is Bro. Micahel G. Burchard, Sr. of Soddy Lodge No. 418 of Soddy Daisy, TN. Brother Kevin Braziel of Blazing Star Lodge No. 413, Marble Falls, TX was our lodge visitor on 24 October 2006. He comes to meet the Brethren and particularly to witnessed the initiation of his Battalion mate, NMCB 4, Jeff T. Davenport. He pauses here with the Master Larry Morris. Brothers Ezzard Bradford, Jr. of Gibraltar Lodge No. 058 of San Diego, California and Edwin Pamintuan (Not in picture) of Okinawa Lodge No. 118, Japan were first time visitor, 26 September 2006. The WM Larry Morris, the Officers and Brethren welcome them and showed appreciation for coming to visit the lodge and also to witnessed the initiation of three brothers. Rick Collantes of Southwest Lodge No. 283 of San Diego California, visited Anacapa Lodge on August 19, 2006 opportune time to witnessed two brothers rise to the sublime degree of Master Mason.
Today July 25, 2006 Brother William S. Downey of Channel Islands Lodge No. 214 pay a visit to Anacapa Lodge No. 710. Vouch and introduced to the Worshipful Master and to the Brethren by the District Inspector 316 W Robert L. King, Jr. which in time also to witnessed the passing of two brothers Santos and Marero. This date July 18, 2006 Brother Darren Reale of Paradise Valley Silver Ranch No. 29, Phoenix, Arizona, took the opportunity to visit and socialize with his fraternal brothers of Anacapa Lodge. He is here on a job related travel from his home town. An example of - Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth. Occasionally Brothers from other lodges come and visit our Lodge. Brought by the call of their job employment or plainly a visitor, visiting relatives or friends. In this case Brother Shawn D. Gray of Fallbrook Lodge No. 317, is here for job related matter. Photo shows Bro. Bert Guiang a Senior Deacon with the visitor whom he introduced during the stated meeting on May 9, 2006. Brother Salvador Reyes, second from left cross the Pacific Ocean to witnessed a brother entered as Apprentice Mason. He hailed from Misawa, Japan, Lodge No. 10 Three Brothers from Rising Sun Lodge No. 151, Sagami Depot, Japan, Brother Floriman Gacad, Carlos Ebalo and WB Ronaldo Sotomango pay respect to the WM Larry Morris and the Brethren of Anacapa Lodge, January 31, 2006. They become a part of the sideline a witnessed to a brother on his first step in Masonry.
