Anacapa Masonic Lodge No. 710 Conferral 3°
January 22, 2008, Anacapa Lodge No. 710 started the year with the conferral into the sublime degree of Master Mason to Brother Jojo C. Benabese (2nd row 2nd from left). In attendance aside from our member during the conferral are brothers from other lodges from Lemon Grove, California, South Dakota and from Oxnard Lodge 341. The inclement weather combined with cooler temperature inside the lodge room was not a hindrance to the ceremony. We all gathered for presentation and refreshment at the dinning hall at the closing of the lodge.
Third degree conferral has been accorded to Brother Corey D. Jackson on October 23, 2007. As questions has been ask before challenging him of his truthful wish, his own free will and accord, the teaching also continues as this time a more complicated, teaching that in all men there is something that cannot die, something that we are supposed to discover and develop. This is a divine element in each of us, the life of God in the soul of man lived in the bounds of time and space and under human conditions. This is the secret of third degree. WM Willy Dumaop and his Officers extend many thanks for the support and the ever presence of all., without which Anacapa Lodge No. 710 could not exist and be here in support to its present structure... We wish to welcome home Brother Jesus Escamilla. He has been deployed in Iraq as member of NMCB 4.
The Past Masters
The Officers, Brethren plus the Past Masters
In the evening of October 16, 2007, the Past Masterx guided Brother Michael Cory Moreno in the essence of the Masonic doctrine that all men are in search of something in their own nature which they have lost, but that with proper instruction and by their own patience and industry they may hope to find. The conferral was enlightened by the presence of Brothers from other lodges, WB Willieam T. Piper, Nogales Lodge No. 11 of Nogales, AZ, the Grandfather of Brother Moreno, WB Benjamin Macaraeg of Gateway Lodge No. 338, , Brea, California and Bro. Dwayne L. Bergman, of Aomori Lodge No. 10, Misawa, Japan. The presentation follows in the dining room; Masonic literatures by WM Dumaop, dues card by WB Worford and issuing of name tag, the pinning of lapel square and compass by WB Andaya and a narrative story of a young mason - "not in the pin but in the heart," concluded the evening. To WBs Claude D. Martin, Sr. and Walter B. Marshall, we missed you both. You will always be part of of our prayer on your continuance to your road of better health. Anacapa Lodge No. 710 continually fulfills its obligation to educate brothers entering the world of Masonry. Today September 25, 2007 we witnessed the culmination of this education when under the roof of this lodge, Brother Jeffrey T. Davenport willfully submitted himself to the question "Yes," this is of my own free will and accord. Under the guidance of WM Willie Dumaop the rehearsal and structure placement of players in their respective position by Roman Ladaw , Senior Warden plus the hundred percent cooperation of the officers and past masters the total result was extra ordinary. Well done Brethren! The teachings in the Lodge room inculcated by the Brothers to Brother Arthur G. Cobarrubias has leave some philosophical thought to ponder. His journey full of symbolism that only him as he widened his sphere to a broader light could he then seek the answers to his quest as a Master Mason in his determination to become a better man. Brother Arthur was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason on May 22, 2007, shown in between the Senior Warden Roman RF Ladaw and the WM Willy Dumaop.
March 20, 2007 a significant episode in the life of Brother Kristofer Nguyen. He enters a Lodge room a symbol of prayer, or meditation leaving behind the material world , a concepts like egoism, self-aggrandizement, vain petty, ambitions, and criticisms of others. are to be left behind. It suggest that we as part of this should search for that "still, small voice" within, in our spiritual search. Once more the Officers of Anacapa Lodge No. 710, headed by WM Willie Dumaop, the Past Masters and Brethren as sideliners, including a visiting Brother Jeff Beckwich, of Glendale, were one for all enthusiastically conferred the Master Mason to Brother Kristofer Nguyen. A well deserved evening for everybody.
Brother Jesus Escamilla, on March 6, 2007 and again at his own free will and accord make his final journey to the East in search of Light, or spiritual awareness. Guided by three beacons, symbolized by the Worshipful Master and the Senior and Junior Wardens, who symbolize the square of morality, the level of equality, and the plumb of uprightness. This also to remind him entering the Lodge room are not only designed to help us in our journey, both materially and spiritually, but to prepare us for the end of that journey, which is our own death. The Officers extend their thanks and appreciation to the continual support of all the Brothers particularly the Past Masters and Brothers from other Lodges during this eventual night. (Brother Jesus Escamilla is on the left of the Worshipful Master - Willie Dumaop)
Brother Cameron J. Schwartz, shown here with Worshipful Andaya, after a soliloquy, was so persistent in his quest for greater lights in Masonry, was raised to the sublime degree on February 6, 2007. His proficiency in the preceding degrees were all in long form and delivered in a very impressive manner. These steps taken were so essential in becoming an Officer of the Lodge. The group picture taken after the conferral has been flawed as a result of inadequate knowledge in the intricacies of modern technology. However, we will aggressively indulge to correct this to prevent any future occurrence.
