Brethren of Anacapa Lodge 710, Poinsetia Lodge 214 and Conejo Lodge 807gathered together this morning of 01 October 2011 for continual Masonic Cemetery semi-annual cleanup  work to pluck out more plants and weeds, thereby giving our old departed brethren’s tomb stones a second chance to expose their old and forgotten splendor.

On this damp Saturday morning of March 19, 2011 some of our brothers from Anacapa Lodge 710 spent more than 4 hours cleaning up the Cemetery where several of our brethren are buried.  This cemetery falls victim to natural occurrences, such as rainfall, and human neglect.  Although tired and putting a lot of hard work, they enjoyed themselves, had a good fellowship time and vowed to come back.  Much more work and support is needed to complete the project, so come and join us next clean up.

Public School Observance Program

In 1920, California's Grand Master, Most Worshipful Albert Adams, established the month of April as Public Schools Recognition month. Since then, California Masons and their respective Lodges have provided variety of ways to show their unwavering support of public education.  Anacapa Lodge has enthusiastically observed this show of support by honoring Classified and Certificated employees of Oxnard and Hueneme School Districts. See pictures below:

21 April 2009 - Masons in recognizing the tireless dedication and patience of our Community Educators.  It was opened by a prayer before the dinner led by our WB Coach Bobby Worford followed by the ceremony in the Lodge room.  Some of the pictures above were taken during the event.  Click on them to see the full image, save and enjoy.  Congratulations to all well deserving recipients.  We salute you all.
