Text Box: Pendleton this year on August 1—3 (Fri. thru Sun.). We have always enjoyed this annual outing. I am looking forward to it, especially since this is the first time my wife, Lourdes, and I am joining the regular attendees to tough it out in the outdoors. (Bro. Joey, please bring your RV, okay? Thanks!) Contact Bros. Joey Aguilar and Romy Julaton for details.

A day to fulfill our obligation and to share our good fortune to those less fortunate in life by way of serving at the food counter in the Midnight Mission and by donating canned goods and used but clean clothing has been set for August 23rd. We still need donations which we encourage you to bring to the Lodge up through August 5th. Contact our Midnight Mission Trip Chairman, Bro. Gilbert Cabrera, for more details. Thank you.

To all of you, duffers, out there, do not miss our Lodge Golf Tournament on August 31st (Sunday). If you are a little bit rusty, you have approximately two months to sharpen up. Our Golf Committee is composed of Bros. Edwin Aroma, Olit Evangelista, Michael Cortez and Roy Blabagno. Thanks to Wor. Freddie Simpao for this great idea. A picnic will also be held adjacent to the golf course that day, so this is not only for the golfers among us. Please bring your family and enjoy the day with us. Let us all have and enjoy a safe and sane summer!

Yours sincerely in Freemasonry,

Text Box:
Dear Brethren,

The past month marked the first time in my capacity as District Inspector to review and/or audit the books and/or records of the four Lodges in our District.

Although my general assessment is positive, there is still room for improvement. My concerns, if any,  have been communicated to all the incumbent Masters, Treasurers and Secretaries and I am confident that they will be addressed as soon as possible. I am mandated by the Grand Lodge to perform such work to safeguard the interests of all members in each Lodge. I am here to help.

I thank all those who participated in my District audit for their cooperation and support. That audit had given me a renewed appreciation of the work involved in administering a Lodge or a District.

Fraternally,

Francisco ‘Kit’ G. Perlas, PM
