Because I am a Freemason…

I believe that Freedom of religion is an indispensable human right and tolerance an indispensable trait of human character; therefore I will stand in my Lodge with Brothers of all faiths, and respect their beliefs as they respect mine, and I will demonstrate the spirit of Brotherhood in all aspects of my life.

Governments view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases;

If it moves, tax it.
If it keeps moving, regulate it.
If it stops moving, subsidize it

There's a myth that time is money.  In fact, time is more precious than money.  It is a non-renewable resource.  Once you've spent it, and if you have spent it badly, it is gone forever.
