We, the members and officers of Sublime Benicia Lodge #5 take pride in making our Lodge a premier Masonic organization dedicated to enhance the quality of life of its members and families, as well as the citizens’. The vision presents many challenges, which we can overcome by developing a unique identity for our institution and by translating into life the 3 great principles of Masonry: Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth.
A premier Masonic Lodge and a unique identity go hand in hand. We, the members and officers, should be one body, bound together for mutual encouragement and striving with one heart and mind after greater things. Let there be a sincere sense of honor and a high regard for purity in our selves. Let us exemplify the true Masonic virtues by never wounding a human heart or wronging a human soul especially a brother mason.
Our Lodge is a place where one finds Brotherly Love, a place where one is a true friend of the other, a place where one regards the whole human species as one family. In Sublime Benicia Lodge reside Relief, spiritual comfort and a sincere friendship. In here also, there is Truth, which is a divine attribute and the foundation of every virtue. Members and officers of our honorable Lodge are truthful in character and habits, dependable, men of great honor who are faithful fellows and loyal friends.
All these would bring forth a quality of life so dignified and satisfying for the members. This leads into an endless inspiration to carry the same quality of life into each family and eventually into the community. Honorable members and officers are the foundation of a strong organization like our very own Lodge. Let us work together to see this happens. Let us meet as Masons, who set aside any differences and take only the fact that we are Brethren of Sublime Benicia Lodge who discuss and finally agree on the pursuit of the GOOD of our sublime fraternity.
