The highlight of my year as Master had to be the night I raised my son Carlton J ay Robinson to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason. I also had the honor of con- ferring the First and Second Degrees on him. This was a dream come true. I must thank some cherished people for making it possible for me to become Master of Golden Rule Lodge #479. Worshipful Donald R. Kidder, Officer Coach until his untimely death in November of 1989, and Worshipful Donald G. Cross, #1 for making me believe in myself to do the work, and the assiduous help of Brother Secretary James F. Leggate, who makes your job as Master fluent. Of course, my wife Barbara Kay for all her support and allowing me to be gone all those nights. A big "THANK YOU", Worshipful George & Wife Bobbie Allen for the Officers Jewels they presented to the Lodge installation night. I THANK the Members and Officers of Golden Rule Lodge #479 for their assistance and support during my years in the line and serving as Master of the Best Masonic Lodge in the Santa Clara Valley. (1985-1990).
I dedicate my year as Master in the Memory of my Father, Thorban J. Robinson, M.M., Fairbanks, Alaska, Tanana Lodge No.162.
