1989- GEORGE C. JENNINGS
Installed Worshipful Master of Golden Rule Lodge on January 16th, 1989. Officer's color -baby blue. January 16th: Installation of Officers. Decorations were of Baby Blue and French Blue with White Candles. Installation was very well attended with 35 Family Members, including myself and Lady Loryl, there to witness the proceedings. They came from California, Colorado, Missouri and Florida. May 2Oth: Traveling Lodge was a huge success with Ken Willey receiving his 3rd Degree at Texas Lodge #47 in San Juan Bautista. ,June 3rd: The Family Lodge Picnic was held at Vasona and though it was a very windy day, it didn't seem to bother the cooks or the 51 attendees. August 14th: Widow's Night and the Family Bar-B-Que were combined and proved a successful joining as there were 106 in attendance, 22 of whom were widows. October 23rd: Hiram Award -Recipient, Richard Law. Very well attended with several dignitaries from Concordant Bodies present. Looking back over my year of 1989 as Master of Golden Rule Lodge #479, the above are some of the standout highlights of my year .However, I think the things of which I'm most proud were the initiation of Ladies Game Night which brought our Ladies out for Stated Meeting Dinner; the fact that during 1989 we initiated 16 Entered Apprentices, passed 13 Fellow crafts and raised 5 to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason and, of course, the fellowship and cooperation of all Officers and Members.
