On January 18 the Officers of Golden Rule Lodge were installed by Past Master Fred W. Shirey, Installing Officer; with Past Master Donald R. Kidder as Master of .Ceremonies, and Past Master Arthur A. Bruns Jr. Installing Chaplain in an open installatlon. Sunday, February 21 all newspapers in California had in them a Masonic insert honoring George Washington and Masonary in California.

March being Masonic Youth Month the Lodge had the DeMolay Degree exemplified by Cambrian Park and Campbell Chapters on March 15 during DeMolay Week. April 19 brought out a large attendance for our combined Public Schools Observance during Public Schools Month. May 22 was our trip to Columbia. May 24 Bethel #129 I.O.J.D. exemplified the Majority Degree for the Lodge and its guests. June 24 was the first Table Lodge sponsored by the six Lodges. September 20 was the date of our Constitution Observance, which filled all three dining rooms, thanks to the hard work of Gene Murphy and his committee. October 18 was Past Masters Night. November 29 was Widows Night. And on December 20 Frank Grey received the Hiram Award.
