With the Wright-Drysdale-Farrin team in action, Dean Hill Dewhurst was launched on his year 1970 as Master. A return to Columbia May 16 for Masonic work and presentation of 23 25-year pins at Past Masters' Night Oct. 26 were among the highlights of his year. During his tenure there was much discussion and several reports received from the Masonic Temple Association regarding the necessity of a new Masonic Temple and finding a, suitable location. Twenty-seven degrees were conferred. Membership stood at 694, Blood Bank balance of 11 pints were on record at year's end. At the Dec. 7 stated meeting, Bro. Donald R. Kidder was elected Master for 1971.
