Officers were installed by Past Master Charles Griffel, assisted by Past Master J. Ross Kennedy as Master of Ceremonies, on Jan. 12. Authorization to purchase a safe for $110 for protection of records in possession of the secretary was voted at the June 7 meeting. (Actual cost was later authorized at $144.20.) In November the lodge was advised that the Grand Lodge had put a new minimum on dues to be charged by any lodge at $12 per annum. A resolution by this lodge to that effect was presented at this meeting and adopted at the stated meeting of Dec. 6, and became effective as of Jan. 1, 1949. Bro. Leonard Scott was elected Master for the year 1949. Another busy year, over 90 degrees conferred; membership, 554.
