Installation Jan. 13, 1947, Charles Griffel and Oren Holaday officiating. At the January stated meeting, Bro. Lionel Warden, on behalf of the Scottish Rite Bodies, presented a trophy to the lodge representing the 1946 championship of the Scottish Rite Billiard Tournament. Past Master Howard Simpkins accepted on behalf of the lodge. Purchase of new officers' aprons and jewels were authorized on Sept. 8. At the stated meeting of Dec. 1, 1947, Bro. Clarence Clyde Coleman was elected to serve as Master for 1948. Another busy year for Golden Rule, with more than a hundred degrees being conferred. Membership now 514.
