Past Masters Charles Griffel and Oren Holaday, acting as Installing Officer and Master of Ceremonies, respectively, installed Bro. John Poisal as Master of Golden Rule Lodge on Jan. 10, 1944. One of the largest degree meetings of the year occurred Nov. 20 with over 150 members present. On Dec. 4, Bro. Arthur Lawry was elected Master for 1945. Forty-four candidates were raised during the year (a lodge record) which required several 5-degree Saturdays. Membership at Dec. 31 was 431.
