Bros. Burrell and Holaday again installed at an open installation Jan. 18. On March 1 a motion was approved to provide a service flag for members of Golden Rule who entered the armed forces. Due to the death of Inspector Charles 0. Burrell, the lodge was transferred temporarily to the 53rd District. At the Dec. 1 stated meeting it was voted to abolish life memberships. Bro. Jonn Willford Poisal was elected Master for 1944. Membership, 392. During the year it was necessary to confer several degrees following the regular stated meetings.
