Open installation Jan. 12 with Inspector Burrell and Past Master Oren Holaday again serving as Installing Officer and Master of Ceremonies. On April 6 a "Wartime Emergency Committee" was appointed by the Worshipful Master whose duties included the administration of the Masonic War Relief Fund. The lodge authorized the purchase of a table model addresso- graph ($65) to be used for mailing the lodge bulletin. At the Aug. 24 meeting Bro. Louis M. Kimberlin, Past Master of Liberty Lodge 299, Santa Clara, a charter member of Golden Rule Lodge and long-time trustee, expired from a heart attack while delivering the charge. Dec. 7, Fritz Hans Olsen elected Master for 1943.
