Installation on Jan. 15 by the usual installing team. In the spring, a soft- ball baseball team was organized with Bro. John Poisal as manager and Bro. Joel Carter, captain. Along with five other Masonic teams, the Acacia League was formed which was associated with the San Jose Night Ball Association. Eventually, three games between the six teams were played once a week at one of the several diamonds. Games were of one hour duration beginning at 7, 8, and 9 p.m. Golden Rule's 1935 team won 16 games without a loss. Names on the roster that year included. Joe Carter, Bob Clar, Ben Peckham, Bruno Schulz, Ken Jordan, Clarence Flscher, Leon Allen, FrItz Olsen, Norman Henry, Lew Ashcraft, Ray Blackmore, Al Elbe, Sid Mills, Harvey Roy, John Poisal, and Bill Rickers.
