Fourteen Masons, members of Lodges in and out of California, residents of the small (200 est. population) Culver City, got together and requested dispensation to form a new Masonic Lodge from California's Grand Master and that request was granted on August 3, 1917 in the midst of World War I. Three days later, those men and several others met in the hall of University Lodge No. 394 to start the life of Culver City Lodge No. 467 (now Culver City-Foshay Lodge No. 467).

We meet on Wednesdays. The first Wednesday of every month is our Stated Meeting or business meeting. We start the evening at 6:30pm with a dinner. Masons, guests and visitors are welcome to join us. At 7:30pm all Master Masons are invited to the meeting upstairs.

On the other Wednesdays we either confer degrees or practice the conferal of degrees. Occasionally we hold degrees on other nights. Please check our calendar for updates. Degrees and practices are only open to Masons.

We invite you to visit us or attend any of our public events. Our members are more than happy to answer any questions you may have about the organization and how you can join.

"We meet upon the Level and we part upon the Square. What words of precious meaning, those words Masonic are! Come, let us contemplate them! They are worthy of a thought; In the very walls of Masonry the sentiment is wrought." — Brother Rob Morris, Poet Laureate of Freemasonry
