hard on Saturdays and Sundays and also on evenings during the week after a
regular day’s work.
The groundbreaking of the Temple was done on September 9, 1967 presided by
the Most Worshipful Lawrence Dayton, Grand Master of F.& A.M. of California.
A little over a year after, or on September 28, 1968, the Most Worshipful
Eugene S. Hopp, Grand Master of F.&A.M. of California presided over the
cornerstone laying ceremony. West Covina Masonic Temple was dedicated on
August 25, 1974 with the Most Worshipful Raymond A. Ebbage, Grand Master of
Masons in California and Hawaii as Guest of Honor.
