Turlock Lodge #395

This is a photo of Turlock Masonic Temple taken shortly after its completion in 1920.  Downstairs tenants included two grocery stores and a piano company. Note, watermelon on ice was two cents per pound , sweet corn was fifteen cents for a dozen ears and a box of Stockton potatoes was one dollar and twenty cents, at the Pulis Bros. grocery.  Entrance to the Lodge was through the covered vestibule at the left of the photo. The lower portion of the building was trimmed in beautiful marble.
