From the East
Greetings! Time flies so fast and it’s already June. As we
continue to build the structure high above the foundation, a
lot of new brethren are learning fast the working tools of our
profession.

CONTINUED... I am
delighted that the officers are very enthusiastic in their
respective stations. I am also grateful that the ladies of
Lodge # 394 are giving their much needed support not only to
the craftsmen of our lodge but also in abroad. I want to thank
Bro. Sam Boyamyan and Bro. Rio Santonil for what they have
done while I was away. It shows that the Senior and Junior
Wardens are ready to take charge and lead.
Our trip to the Philippines was a memorable one. We had a
great time at the AnCom of the Grand Lodge of Masons of the
Philippines. The brethren were very glad to see a lot of
delegates from California. We visited Leonard Wood Lodge #105
in Angeles, Pampanga. Bro. Jess Medina introduced us to the
brethren of Lodge #105 and the fellowship was great and a lot
of laughter.
We also visited Father Edgar Panlilio, the priest and
missionary of “Bahay Pag-Ibig” (House of Love) in San
Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines. He was so
grateful from our response in his appeal for monetary
donations to fix/replace their facility’s leaking roof. As I
promised, we visited him and met the many residents, who gave
us a very warm welcome. They continually gave us praise and
extended their regards to the families of our Lodge. Also,
the roof was being replaced at the time of our visit.
Kudos to all the brethren and ladies who helped out during Science Fair
with Torrance Unified
School District held on
April 8, 2004. Thanks also to
the brethren of Sunnyside Lodge who has been our partner in
our Annual Science Fair. Also thanks to everyone who made it
to our Mother’s Day Dinner.
Fraternally,
Mario Camantigue, PM
