From the West
It is a great honor and
pleasure to be elected by the brethren to serve as master for
the ensuing Masonic year. I want to take this opportunity to
express my whole-hearted thanks to all of you, the officers
and the members of the lodge. Also, I would like to
congratulate all the elected and appointed officers for the
ensuing Masonic year 2007.
The
year ending has been a very challenging time for our officers
and members and likewise will be a very challenging year ahead
for the incoming officers. But in spite of all these
challenges, with our sincerity and faithfulness to the
Fraternity, we are going to conquer them.
The Holiday season is just
around the corner and in the spirit of the holidays specially
Christmas; I am asking each and every member including our
ladies to please take the challenge to set aside our
differences, forgive and forget and to exercise the most
important tenets of our Fraternity “Brotherly Love, Relief and
Truth”. The eyes of the Fraternity are now upon us. Let us all
join hands in uniting for a common goal to let harmony
prevail, let us uphold the reputation of our lodge and let us
show the whole Masonic community that by these acts we have
become a better lodge and proud to say, “We are members of
Torrance University Lodge No. 394”.
Are we all ready for the
challenge?
Lastly, the incoming
officers and I, cordially invites all the brethren together
with their ladies and the widows of our departed brethren to
attend our 99th Annual Installation of Officers to
be held on December 16, 2006 @ 5:00pm at our lodge. And in the spirit of unity, let us make this momentous
event the starting point for a better tomorrow.
Finally, join me in
congratulating our 2006 Hiram Award Recipient, Bro. Norman
Naylor.
Congratulations Brother!!!!!!
Happy
Holidays!!!!!
Fraternally,
Jesus Medina
