April is coming! The first quarter of
the year is upon us. We’ve had several productive activities and the
officers and brethren are gearing up for the upcoming year. Brethren
please mark your calendar Monday, April 5th, Stated Meeting
/ Family Dinner Night. Please bring the family and join the brethren
and their families for a delicious dinner as well as enjoying the
camaraderie between brothers and fellows. In addition, Thursday, April
8th Torrance University will be hosting its Annual Public School’s Month Science
Fair at Torrance High School. To the brethren who has not had an
opportunity to attend the public schools event, it is a great
opportunity to attend and experience the event which was once held in
our lodge dining room area and grown to over 700 families and kids
from schools throughout the Torrance Unified School District.
On February 22nd, the
brethren and the Line Dancer Association hosted a fund raising
for the lodge-building fund. I would like to thank the brethren that
help prepare the food in advance, served and made the event a success.
I want to recognize your hard work and dedication because of this
gesture the lodge is now able to replace several of the tables that
were starting to show the wear and tear. Lastly but the least, I would
like to thank the Line Dancer Association for their kind
gesture in supporting the upkeep of the lodge.
On May 3rd, will be our
Stated Meeting / Family Night Dinner. Our host, Bro Tom, will be
serving his special delicacies from the homeland. Bring the family and
enjoy a meal to remember. =)
