The East
Greetings from the East. I hope every body is doing okay. Our Family
Night during stated meeting is always a good turn out averaging fifty
brethren and sisters. Please remind our brethren and sisters who are
missing out. It is also a good time to bring our worthy friends for
fellowship and camaraderie.
I also want to thank Bro. Stan and the
Line Dancers who supported us during our fund raising event held on
Feb. 22. About 100 line dancers were on and hand and enjoyed our
baked chicken. Thanks to our Master Chef Bro. Ben and Bro. Perry, the
brethren and ladies who helped out in the kitchen.
Last March 1st, we had a
visitor from Australia, Ms. Kathy Porter; she gave us a small talk
about her travels/visits to poor communities of other countries. She
spends her time on helping the needy people and is spending her 60
days vacation volunteering to help care for the poor and sick children
and mothers in Guatemala. The Brethren and Ladies of Torrance
University responded by donating boxes of medicine, vitamins,
children’s clothes and cash for Ms. Porter to bring on her trip
there.
Bro. Anthony Robbins from England also
visited us on our March Stated Meeting and had a good time. Good
stories were exchanged and there were a lot of laughter.

please read your cipher book to avoid those little mistakes.
