Happy Labor Brethren and Ladies!

I would like to thank everyone for their enormous help last month. First, hats off to the Masonic Formation Committee who changed their meeting date to the Wednesday before Stated Meetings, thereby offering a helping hand for dinner setup; thanks to Bro. Greg Stewart, Art Melendez and Aaron Cohen for a great job at the Valley Cultural Center; thanks to Bro. David Sylvester, Bro. Spyros and everyone else on the MFC for putting together a thoughful and engaging On the Level Program; thanks to Bro. Steve Mahr for his tireless efforts with the Masonic Education Center; thanks to the Bauers for taking over Movie Nights, and finally thanks to Wor. Bro. Inaki who has volunteered to oversee our Scholarship Program and helped ensure our recipients were greeted with praise and affection.

I also want to apologize to all the ladies who have been helping with the after dinner entertainment. I had gifts for you at the August Stated Meeting from Claudia, but unfortunately I was not able to get them to each of you. I will make sure that you receive them soon, for without your help, post dinner entertainment would be quite boring.

Lastly, I would like to thank Wor. Bro. Bill Bray for ensuring that Grand Lodge responded to our Request for Dispensation to vote on Mr. Curtis Gole and Mr. Stanislav Tolensikov in time for the August Stated Meeting; and to the Gole and Tolensikov families for their patience.

Have a wonderful September, and don't forget to sign up for Mini Golf on September 16th, Constitution Night on September 20th, Past Master's Night on October 11th, and the Magic Castle Dinner and Show on October 20th.

Fraternally,
