FROM THE EAST
November 2006
Dear Brothers and Ladies:
Our American tradition is that we gather the last harvest during the autumn and prepare the bounty we have harvested for sustenance during the coming months. I say this knowing that this month, we will be electing a new officer line which I am confident will continue the tradition of preparing and planning a good year of Masonic and social programs based on the successes of this past year's activities.
This month of November is the time to look back on the past ten months with wonder and thanksgiving for the blessings that the Almighty Father of the Universe has given to the members of this truly distinguished Lodge and to me as this year's Master.
I am thankful that the social and Masonic programs we planned for this Masonic year have been successful thanks mostly to the hard work and planning of the individual event chairmen and their ladies. In fact, the success of our Stated Meeting Dinners this year would have not been possible without the hard work and dedication of my wife Star and the ladies who assisted her in planning entertainment for the Dining Hall.
The commitment of our elected leaders and appointed committee chairs in the performance of their duties has been a continual source of inspiration to me in serving you as Master of our Lodge. A strong level of cooperation and teamwork among the people that serve the Lodge is vital to the perpetuation of a successful Masonic Lodge. Likewise, no Master can expect to have a successful year without cooperation and teamwork among those he must ask to assist his efforts in leading the Lodge towards his vision of a successful year.
I am grateful for the cooperation and assistance that was given to me this year and I urge everyone to provide that same level of assistance to the newly elected Master when he asks for your help during the coming year.
Fraternally yours,
Marco Romey, PM
Master
