FROM THE EAST - July 2005
Brethren:
I would llike to thank Star and Marco for hosting the June Stated Meeting. Spyros, Star and Marco were again on hand to decorate the Dining Room on Wednesday Evening and Ethel and I would like to Thank You! Well he did it again, he topped himself at the June Stated Meeting Dinner... Thank You Aaron Shubb. The hardest thing about the Stated Meeting Dinner is the clean-up afterwards and last month everybody seemed jump in and help. Ethel and I really appreciate this and Thank You Very Much, we were so busy we did not get all the names of the Ladies.
The May event was the Movie Night, followed by Dinner at the Lamplighter. James Bayhylle got the tickets in advance for "Star Wars" and I know that was a big advantage for those wanting to see that movie.
In June we had our golf outing which was run by Bob Gross and George Fayle, but at this time I have no results from the outing.
July is a busy month. First the Luau/Picnic chaired by Aaron Shubb assisted by the Officers, see the front page of the "CHIPS" for all the details. Second is the Information Night and Masonic Lecture, see James Bayhylle's article for the information on this evening. Then we are off to a play written by our own Sam Langford. Ted Schuman is heading this event and there is an article in the "CHIPS" with all the information.
The things we are doing this month are innovative and I hope you enjoy them.
Fraternally yours,
Stanley J. Higgins, PM
