Brethren,
I have previously been writing about community. On this theme I have had a chance to reflect on the dealings of our February Stated Meeting. I have come to ask many questions about this and even contemplated resigning. But as I had many questions, so came many answers.
First, I know that the Lodge has placed a certain trust in the elected officers, I being one of them. As a Mason, I know that we are to aid, support, and protect each other. While I am not able to predict why things transpired in the manner in which they did, I know that I should and will support the brother who did it. And hopefully, we can educate ourselves in the proper way to work within our Masonic community.
Remember brethren to soothe the unhappy, to sympathize with their misfortunes, to compassionate their miseries, and to bring peace to troubled minds is what we should all have in view.
I am sure that all of the elected officers are working towards that goal, and if any brother has a suggestion as how to accomplish it in our Lodge, all suggestions would be warmly received.
Fraternally,
Aaron Shubb
Junior Warden
