Brethren:
I would like to thank the Brethren for investing their confidence in me by electing me to serve the Lodge as this year's Junior Warden. I also want to express my very best wishes for a most successful Masonic year to the Worshipful Master, Senior Warden and the appointed officers of this year's line.
As I write this article, we have already participated in the Kid's Christmas Party. I am very thankful to all the brothers and our ladies who helped with activities, wrapping of gifts and time spent in preparing the Kid's Party for the children of the Covina Masonic Home and our grandchildren. This is the type of activity that shows how Masonry can make a difference outside the walls of our Lodge and I am very proud to have had the opportunity to participate in this event.
I am pleased to see so many new Brothers have been inspired to make application for membership in our Lodge over the past few years since we have moved to our Ventura Boulevard location in Tarzana. Our officer's line is full of vitality and the future looks bright but we must remember that the greatest legacy that our Lodge can bequeath to the future is that we continue to cherish the tenets of our Craft - Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth. We are only a social club without adherence to these guidelines.

Fraternally yours,
Marco Romey, PM
Junior Warden
