FROM THE EAST

October 2009

Greetings Brethren and Ladies,

As promised, the Fall months are shaping up to be exciting indeed.

First and foremost, I would like to give a hardy congratulations to those of you who showed up to the Mini-Golf Tournament on the 1st. We finally beat North Hollywood down... Again, Masonicly speaking. :-) We can once again show our faces around the Masonic drinking hole!

As we look forward to October, we see some exciting events ahead. On October 10th, we will be going to The Magic Castle for an evening full of good food, delicious libations, and spectacular illusions. Please see the ad and contact Wo. James Bayhylle for more information.

On the 22nd, we will be celebrating those who have been brave enough to tackle the daunting task of running a Masonic Lodge. That's right, it's Past Master's Night once again! The P.M.s will be conferring the 3rd degree of Masonry on now Fellowcraft, Angelo Lobefero. The ceremony will be followed by a delicious steak dinner...

Did I mention the dinner is free!?! Reservations are a must so, if you're a Master Mason in good standing, check out the ad, and contact Wo. John Champion to reserve your place!

Finally, on Saturday October 24th we will be joining together in Santa Paula for a full day of Halloween fun! We will begin the day at Halloween Parade, then travel to the Pumpkin Patch, and end up at the Ghost Walk! Add lots of stops for food and we look to have a great time! Please see the ad for more detailed information, and call either myself or Sara to make your reservation.

I never tire of saying it, and I hope you all never tire of hearing it... Thank you all for your help and support, I could not have done this without you.

Best,

Russell M. Jaeger
Master
