Fraternal Greetings, Brethren,
As we enter May and the days start warming up and lasting longer, I must sadly admit the Car rally has defeated me. The alternate month available, finds Brother Mendleson out of the country. The big event to look forward to now becomes our stated meeting. The menu for this Mother’s day lunch will once more be Barbequed Tri Tip.
My lovely wife has a special pampering session planned for the ladies and the Lodge business should be conducted rather quickly. I wish to thank all of those who continue to step forward to help the officers and me serve the Lodge. It’s exciting to see Brothers of all degrees working so hard on their proficiencies and still lending a helping hand. Brother Michael Asadilla is just one example. He helped with the Child IDs in April and other Entered Apprentices and Fellow Crafts are constantly helping to get the tables set up for the Stated Meeting making the decorating that much easier.
Don’t forget that this month starts the Hawaiian Shirt months to help us stay cooler in the hotter evenings. Show that you are reading the newsletter and enjoy the cooler attire.
Please remember that every Thursday is Lodge night. Something is always happening. Coaching is also available Tuesdays and Thursdays so even if you have finished your degrees, you can still come in and enjoy the privileges afforded to you by our library. I look forward to seeing you at our next meeting.
