FROM THE EAST

Brethren and Ladies,
A hearty greeting from the East: First of all, you will all notice the change in format to our trestle board. This was done this for a few of reasons. The most notable being that we are attempting to cut our expenses across the board this year. Additionally, under the old format, it took a considerable amount of time and labor to put it together. We hope that with this new format, we will be able to get you the most current information in a timely manner.
I would also like to briefly address some of the changes that are happening here at Hollywood Lodge.
I know that some of you have already heard rumors of the change which has occurred in the Secretary’s Office. Let me assure you that, while there will be a (hopefully short) period of adjustment, your line of officers has the situation completely in hand.
I would like to, at this time, thank all of the officers for their support and hard work during this transition period... Especially Worshipful Fred West who has stepped in as our new Secretary, and who with the help of Worshipful John Champion and myself, is working hard to reorganize and reformat the way things are done.
