FROM THE EAST
January 2009
Greetings from the East, Brethren and Ladies,
So here we are at the top of another year. I suppose the first order of business would be to say a profound thank you to all of you who have supported me throughout this journey I am on. Whether it is in Freemasonry or my life in general, without you, my brethren and ladies, I would not be where I am.
I would also like, if I’m not presuming too much, to thank you in advance for your continued support in helping me and my line of officers while we bring you what I know will be a terrific year here at Hollywood Lodge!
We are all working so hard to make sure that Hollywood Lodge continues to be a place where men (and their ladies) of all walks of life can come and feel a sense of belonging they can not find anywhere else in this big beautiful world of ours.
I, along with my officers and advisors, have put together an exciting social calendar which should keep us entertained throughout the year. From the Dodger game, to the Shooting Range, to the Back Lot at Warner Brother’s Studios, we are sure to have a thrilling time! I have worked with Aaron to put together a diverse and delicious menu for the year as well. From the January celebration of Elvis Aaron Presley’s birthday, (coincidentally on the day of our Stated Meeting), where we will be serving all of The King’s favorite foods, to April’s Shaved Ice with Mochi and Sweet Red Bean Dessert. We are going to broaden our horizons as we broaden our waist lines! To sum it all up, I am so excited about the year we have ahead of us, and honored to be your Master. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with and for you, for the betterment of me, you, and Freemasonry in general.
