Happy New Year Brethren and Ladies of Hollywood Lodge!
First, I am honored to be serving as your new Jr. Warden. I am hopeful that over the course of the next 12 months I will get to meet each and every brother receiving the chips, and I look forward to hearing your input. Our Master has embarked on what will prove to be a transformational year - a year that is signified by efforts to bring the brethren of our lodge closer to each other, and to all Masons.
This column will serve as an update on our fraternal and social activities - we look forward to your participation, and more importantly - your input! This month we have some fun and exciting trips planned! On January 17th is our trip to the Santa Anita Racetrack and on Thursday January 22nd, our Lodge will be dark so we may make an official visit to the North Hollywood Lodge #542. All Hollywood Lodge brothers are invited. North Hollywood Lodge is a beautiful Lodge with a full and rich history. Join us there and help show the unity of Hollywood #355, and show support for Worshipful Zulu.
Brother Art asked that I remind everyone that February is our annual Sweethearts Stated dinner. Please bring your wives so they may rest and enjoy a relaxing evening without having to do any work. Remember where most of us would be without our ladies to support us.
I will be working closely with our stewards, brothers Klien and Oliva on our stated dinners and degree nights to make them all special. Look out for emails and phone calls to confirm your dinner reservations!
