Greetings From the south, Brethren!
What a great line up of social activities the Master, his lady, and your lodge has arranged for you. Again, this year Wo. Russell has put an added emphasis on fraternal bonding and as such we have an exciting calendar.
Of course - I was waiting to write this article until after (sorry Wo. Dave!) our "Day at The Track" so I could tell everyone who could not make it what a huge success it was - 46 Brothers, their Ladies and friends loaded onto a bus and spent what was a beautiful day at Santa Anita. Fun was had by all and it was all made possible due to the help of our Brother - Spyros. Thank You Spyros - you did a great job.
Next on the agenda, as I am sure Brother Art will be talking about is our sweethearts dinner at the next stated meeting - this will be a very special evening for the ladies and in particular the widows of our lodge. The Master's Lady has arranged an exciting night of "pampering" for you! In addition to our bi-monthly Movie nights hosted by Wo. Bauer and his Lady, Joanne, the next "big" event is our first annual bowling tournament against North Hollywood lodge. This event will be on Saturday March 14th, at a location still to be determined - I can tell you that we are looking to host it at "Lucky Strike Lanes" on Hollywood and Highland pending confirmation from NoHo. This event will be open to everyone and I look forward to telling you more about it!
Finally, a big thank you to all of you who come out every Thursday night to support your lodge and to help bring/advance men into Masonry.
