Good day Brethren and Ladies,
It is my honor and privilege to be writing to you from the South. I must admit that, while the circumstances which put me in this Station are upsetting and unfortunate to say the least... I am determined to do the very best job I can. I will serve our Lodge, our Brethren, and Freemasonry in general by working with you all to create a peaceful and harmonious Lodge. In the coming months and years, I look forward to getting to know all of you better.
I feel fortunate to be a part of a thriving Lodge where we all have the opportunity to learn from each other. We are such a diverse group of people, the young and the old, the rich and the poor, the high and the low. We all have experiences and lessons to share with one another. From the Past Masters to the youngest Entered Apprentice, if we can all band together, my brothers, and use the trowel to "spread the cement of brotherly love and affection", there's nothing we can't accomplish.
I would also like to take this opportunity to officially introduce myself, as I feel certain there are many of you who don't know too much about me. My full name is Russell Mark Jaeger. I was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey on July 31, 1974. I am blessed to have a close relationship with my mom and dad who live in Ponte Vedre, Florida. I also have a wonderful relationship with my older brother who lives in West Hampton, New York and my older sister who lives right around the corner in Sherman Oaks.
I am the proud father of a 6 year old girl named Aragwen (pronounced Air-uh-gwen)and a 3 year old little boy named Holden. I live with my girlfriend Sara, in an apartment on Coldwater Canyon, two doors down from "The Little Brown Church" (if you haven't been there, you should check it out).
As far as employment, I am a Production Designer in the film industry (independent, not studio). Lastly, I am a Master Mason and, like you, a proud member of Hollywood Lodge #355, Free and Accepted Masons. It is my pleasure to meet you all.
Fraternally,
Russell Jaeger
