Among those who have received this special honor are Samuel E. Burke, 1922, Rollie W. Miller, 1936 and Burton Meyer, Jr., 1974. Our Past Grand Masters have also served as Inspectors, together with Lloyd C. Campbell, George C. Delevan, Robert Hackert, and others. Ralph Head, Past Master was Editor of the California Freemason until his demise on September 2002. On May 30, 1985 he was given the California Mason of the Year Award for his years of dedication to the craft. On September 18, 2002, the administration building of the California Masonic Homes in Union City was dedicated on his behalf. It is noteworthy to mention that other members of the lodge have also served in various Grand Lodge committees - to name a few - Anton G. Khan, Raymond B. Rosenbaum, William Kludjian.
A century of dramatic changes and events in the world surround us. We have matured from the simple mathematical formulas to the complex scientific inventions. What we would have fathomed in the past as fiction has now become reality. We have sent men to the moon and to space; we have created a whole distinct scientific language in the guise of the computer. We have entered into a new era where simple toys have become hand-held machineries.
Yet, what we have learned from the history of our Past Masters and what we take from the achievements of the Founders of the six lodges comprising Metropolitan Lodge #352 is the principle of true leadership: STRONG IN BELIEF and
UNSHAKABLE IN DEED. With these guidelines as our drive, it is reassuring that the members of Metropolitan Lodge #352 will remain triumphant in their future
endeavors and will continue being models for generations to come
