Doric Chapter's

The Consolidation of Alameda Chapter and Doric Chapter is complete. The Consolidation of Oakland Chapter and Doric Chapter is proceeding in a timely manner. Alameda and Oakland companions should know how much we, at Doric Chapter, appreciate their willingness to travel to Pleasanton to be with us, and to join with us in our great ritual and remarkable Chapter events. You companions are going to forge a very strong Doric Chapter for the SF East Bay.

Elections for the 2004 Doric Line will take place at our December convocation, and the proposed office line for next year includes companions from Alameda Chapter, and those who have already affiliated with us from Oakland Chapter. Our line is made up mostly of companions who have not yet been High Priest, so we will have many years to come of new ideas and talents.

We now have ritual teams for the Mark Master, Past Master, and Most Excellent Master degrees, and Doric Chapter will confer these degrees to brothers who join York Rite and Doric Chapter. We'll assist Palo Alto Chapter, and other EBYRA and CCCYRA chapters who need our help, as well.

The 2004 Doric Monthly Events will include the usual Pie-in-the-face Contest, Bay to Breakers Run, Napa Valley Wine Tour, Table Chapter, and Pilgrimage. A new event will be a "Day at the Races with Ms Erica", a thoroughbred mare that is very dear to my heart.
