To: Officers, 597th Masonic District
From: Ralph Medeiros, Inspector 597th Masonic District
Subject: Schedule, School of Instruction, 2007 Year
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate each of you on elected or appointed office. Enclosed is a copy of the Schools of Instruction for the year of 2007.
I must stress the importance of attending these Schools of Instructions.. All officers should know that these meetings are MANDAT0RY (CMC 4020-C) and it is each officer’s duty to know and present the ritual at his best persona. The attendance last year was pretty dismal. This year we must all strive to do better. .
The ritual should be delivered with knowledge, confidence, skill and pride. This will benefit you and the Lodge, but most important, the candidate and the attending brethren will have you as an exemplary model and I will be there to help you to achieve these goals.
If for any reason, you cannot attend a scheduled School of Instruction, you must call me (559-338-2925 or 559-313-1001) to receive dispensation. Please, if I am unavailable, leave a message on the answering service and I will return your call as soon as possible if the need should arise,
On February 22, 2007, our first scheduled School of Instruction will also include setting up the chairs for the President, Vice President and Secretary for the Officer’s Association for the year of 2007. The hosting Lodge will provide the Chaplain for each school.
Encourage side-liners to attend, if within the perimeter of their degree.
At each of the Stated Meetings of the respective Lodges, I am requesting that the Master take a head count of whom will be at the dinners. This will enable food preparation to be planned accordingly. Please call the hosting Master and give him the count.
I again congratulate all the officers, let us all look forward to a fruitful year.
Fraternally,

Ralph P. Medeiros, PM
Inspector
