Kids ID Program
|
Arcadia Masonic Lodge No. 278 has a "kIDs" program which is sponsored by the California Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons. It provides an identification sheet with a photo and thumb prints. The parents or guardians record other descriptive data such as height, weight, color of eyes and hair, and any distinguishing marks. This information would be stored by the parent or guardian in a safe place and given to police authorities if needed, hopefully never. The child involved would be from almost infant age up to 18 years old. The parent or guardian must be there to approve. The program is provided at no cost as a community service for better protection of our children. |

Since our first venture at the Fire Station in Arcadia on May 19th of this year, there have been many Brethren who have volunteered their services for the Child Identification Program, some for many hours and some for a few hours. Whether it's for a lot of hours or whether it's for a few hours, all of the help is greatly appreciated. A list of those who have volunteered so far is as follows: James Hogan, Charles Jackson, John Zubrick, Howard Farris, Robert DuFresne, Alfred Sinzig, Robert Owens, James MacClaren, Clifford Sparrow, David Leong, Sho Tay, Richard Manley, and Reamse Rainey. Thanks a lot, Brothers.
