Crocker Lodge No. 454, F & A M

On February 28, 1915, sixteen brethren received from Grand Master Bledsoe a dispensation to open a Lodge to be known as Crocker Lodge in Daly City. They held their first meeting shortly thereafter in a rented hall, with Frederic Chilcott as Master, Andrew McNeil McKeown as Senior Warden, and Thomas Madgwick as Junior Warden. On the following October 14, they received their charter and number.

Early in it's career, it bought a frame building on the southwest corner of Mission Street and Hillcrest Drive. This building was partially burned in 1934, and the brethren soon replaced it with the present concrete and steel Temple, which was dedicated by Past Grand Master Filmer on October 3, 1936.
