Cambria Grammar School librarian assists students choose their book.

Each year members of the Lodge donate money to a program, which has been in existance
since
1995, in which books are purchased by a student from each Cambria Grammar School
class who has been chosen by their teacher for his or her outstanding efforts in reading.
The student picks out a book which they like, takes it home after it is presented at a special
school ceremony, but returns it to the school library to be available to other students.
Inside the front cover is a label with their name on it as the recipient and the name of the Lodge
Brother
donating the funds. There is also a statement by the teacher as to why that student was
presented the award. Over the years close to 300 books have been awarded.
The School staff, and the students, look forward to this yearly activity.
