On November 6th, 2007 Richard Wallis, Paul Smith, and I drove up to Jackson to present Paul's son Danny with his 25 year pin. Both father and son are Past Masters of our Lodge. We stopped to eat at Denny's rather than the Lodge as our visit was a surprise. We used that occasion to reminisce about days gone by at our own Lodge. During the visit Danny was elected Master of Amador Lodge #65 for 2008. We presented Danny with his 25 year pin and then also presented him with one of our new Lodge pins as when Danny visited our Lodge recently we neglected to present him with our pin. We had a very nice evening visiting with Danny and some 25 or so Masons in attendance. We were all tired by the time we got back to Antioch that night, but we agreed the trip was worthwhile.
