From The East...
January/February/March Due to the press of the holidays and many personal responsibilities my first column as Master of the Lodge will be short. As our Secretary wrote in his column, I do have ambitious plans for this year. I will share the specifics with you as we go along. The plans concern increased membership, more activities and improving our financial situation. There are several men who have taken a step or two toward becoming Master Masons and then, for various reasons, they have faltered. I intend to help them on their way. We have some talented and serious candidates who just need a little help and who will then, I believe, become valuable and active members of this Lodge. I intend to seek the assistance of our current membership in making needed improvements. We face some uncertainty this year (if Geddes closes) so I am counting on ALL of you to support this historic Lodge. I'm always available for suggestions, questions and offers of help. Fraternally; |
