LEARN PUBLIC SPEAKING

The ability to communicate effectively is a skill in high regard, and The Masonic Toastmasters leadership program can help you develop your ability to communicate effectively to individuals, to the public, and become a leader. The Masonic Toastmasters communication and leadership program follows the guidelines and procedures developed by Toastmasters International, the most highly respected and widely known non-profit public speaking organization.

Training occurs in a friendly "learn by doing" atmosphere with other fellow Toastmasters members. Each meeting, you will have the opportunity to practice public speaking and receive friendly constructive criticism that suggests ways to improve your presentation.

The Masonic Toastmasters club focuses on one specific topic: Freemasonry. This presents an excellent opportunity for all to research masonry, research and prepare a paper for public presentation, and present that paper to the public through a speech. Toastmasters members in the audience will provide friendly constructive criticism, offering suggestions useful to develop and improve your public speaking skills.
